Yep, it's me

I really shouldn't complain since everything's gone so well...but wow, my back hurts so bad! That's one big reason why I don't get on the computer much--it seems to make things worse. Anyhow, I'm a little more than 29 weeks pregnant (!!!) and most of the time, if it wasn't for the "baby bump" (as people call it) and a lot of baby movement on the inside, I wouldn't really know that I'm pregnant. I've had a steady supply of energy ever since I finished the 1st trimester, and I hope it lasts as long as possible - at least until my baby shower next Saturday!

It seems like I had some photos to include, but right now my camera is in the other room and if I go in there to get it, I'll probably get distracted and never come back. ;) Seems like the photos were from the Dave Ramsey conference we went to a couple weeks ago. There were over 7,000 people there.

Hmmm, what else...? My days pretty much consist of going to the gym, taking Shannon for walks (recently Shannon and I went on an "adventure" which turned into a 3.4 mile walk and my feet were so sore the next day! Yes, I was stupid: I wore "flip-flops") cooking, baking, paying bills, fine-tuning our budget, washing/drying/putting away baby clothes and cloth diapers, etc. I went to Froberg's Farm a couple days ago and it was *so* fun. It's exactly 2.5 miles from our house! They had a great selection of fresh fruits and vegetables - cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, greens, green beans, yellow squash, zuccini, celery, apples, plums, pears, bananas, pineapple, oranges, grapefruit, etc.! I love that place.

Well I guess I ought to go (that's what my back is telling me, anyway). It's about 72.5 F here (tho very cloudy) so maybe I'll go outside for a bit.

Ciao!

Good to hear your update. I do hope your back pain improves. Are you careful who you sit and stand? And wearing properly supportive shoes (grin, joking, just doing my motherly nagging act)

But seriously, back pain is no joke (I've had probs for yrs and there are no easy answers)

Take pics of yourself when pg, you'll always be glad you did - you dont' have to share them here (tho I'd love to see them) but it is such fun to look back.

Keep well, love

I must agree with Henrietta about the supportive shoes! LOL I meant to reply to your post days ago and say something about shoes! :-D I think flip flops are a very bad idea for wearing when you're preg! Must say that times when I've walked for any length of time in shoes that aren't supportive enough, I've ended up with a sore back. I think shoes are quite important. If you still have the shoes you bought for nursing school, wear them! :) You'll probably find that your back feels a lot better too. xx

So what kind of cloth diapers did you end up getting???

I must agree with Henrietta and Rachel that good shoes are a must!
Speaking from personal experience here. :)

You should post more about the Dave Ramsey conference! I read his Money Makeover book a while back.
